We are all aware that LinkedIn has members who want to get quick leads and engage in false ways. Remove Anyone Who Takes Away from the Purpose or Culture of Your Group. ![]() When we ask them to share what they’re working on or they post questions, we want to help and review their work fully and as quickly as we can. When they share a celebration, I’m genuinely excited for them. In addition to being kind, I try to be hugely supportive of our members. The group members who choose to join you are your audience and they become an integral part of your community. Our goal was to create a new image of LinkedIn as a fresh and beneficial social media channel, to move beyond the perception of it as a job search site or the oddball uncle who has to come to the family reunion (but who nobody really wants there). This is such an important part of business, and life in general, and I like to think it is a solid foundation for any group on LinkedIn. I’m very fortunate to work at Rainmaker Digital, but there are experts in every field hanging out on LinkedIn who will probably be willing to help. If there is still no response in a day or two, I reach out to people who I believe will have the answer. When that happens, I like to rely on our very smart and active group members to chime in. I also “Like” posts in our discussions and add comments as much as I can to add value for our members.ĭiscussions are often started with questions that I do not know the answers to about LinkedIn (because our members are so awesome and advanced!).
